This is my
"bio", if you will. My page to introduce myself and fill you
in on exactly who I am, why I'm here, and why you shouldn't like me.
We'll start with the basics. My name is Mike, short for
Michelangelo. Or Michael. My real last name isn't Dilday, but it might
as well be. When recently introduced to some friends of Dave, he
introduced me as Mike Dilday, and so it was. Maybe I ought to legally
change it to Dilday, eh? We'll see. I'm nineteen years of age, that's
nineteen years of me blessing you with my existence.
I try to think of myself as a nice guy, but every once in awhile,
I make it hard to think that way. I try to be polite to people that I
meet, unless they suck. And let's be honest, in today's world, people
sucking is the new trend. Because of that thought process I often get
pegged as "pessimistic" or "depressing", I'm
neither. I'm just realistic and honest. So, got ya there!
My history in the world of making websites is a sad one. I've been
a part of two websites, AtrociousBehavior.com and SociallyHidden.com.
Both, ultimately, came to a close, and rightfully so. But with them I
learned a lot about the internet, websites, forums, people, and as
cheesy as it sounds, myself. I used to take this website thing far too
seriously, now, I realize this place is just for fun. We're just here to
entertain and relax, nothing more. We're not here to change the world or
anything, and thankfully so, imagine ME trying to help the world out?
Yikes. I don't have much talent with HTML or any other sort of
scripting. I have some minor knowledge in HTML, enough to fix some screw
ups that FrontPage 2000 (that's right, I use FrontPage 2000) make on a
regular basis. I just try to make the site visually pleasing and the
content interesting and entertaining. I'm not the best writer, but
neither are you.
Outside of the world wide web, I'm just your average nineteen year
old. I spend a lot of time with hockey related things, playing, writing
about it, reading about it, etc. I also spend a lot of my spare time
hanging out with Dave here at FartStock and my other close friend,
Taylor (who may make a contribution or two).
Why I made this site,
or, why Dave and I made this site, should be left to the
"About" section. So, check that out if you're genuinely
interested in me, Dave, or the website. If you've got any question, feel
free to ask.
